TELUK INTAN, Sept 29 — Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said he held talks yesterday with representatives of the Indian government over New Delhi’s white rice export restrictions.

BENTONG, Sept 29 — The Agriculture and Food Security Ministry will propose using subsidised imported rice at government premises to increase the domestic supply of local rice.

SHAH ALAM, Sept 27 — The Selangor government will subsidise the purchase of imported rice through Padiberas Nasional Bhd (Bernas) until the end of this year to ensure a stable supply of the staple food in the state.
